Aboard the legendary Ceeray with Captain Kim, this trip offers lush kelp forests, vibrant marine life, and relaxed, high-quality diving—paired with the comfort and professionalism of one of Southern California’s most respected dive boats.

This trip is open to certified divers, Open Water students completing training dives, snorkelers, and non-divers who simply want to enjoy a beautiful day on the boat. All guests enjoy the same onboard experience and amenities.

Not diving? You’re still very welcome. Snorkelers and non-divers can relax onboard, enjoy surface intervals, take in Catalina’s scenery, and spend a full day on the water with our community. Ticket pricing is the same for divers and non-divers.

Morning Boarding Flow

Please arrive on time. After signing in, divers may begin setting up gear. Crew will assist as needed to ensure an efficient departure.

Meals & Surface Intervals

Hot meals, snacks, and drinks are provided throughout the day. Coffee, tea, sodas, and water remain available all day.

Conditions & Flexibility

Dive sites and schedules may adjust based on weather and sea conditions to ensure safety and the best possible experience.

Required Gear (Divers)

  • Certification card (unless you’re an Open Water student)

  • Scuba tank

  • Weights: ~10% of body weight + 6 lbs

  • Mask, snorkel, fins, boots and gloves

  • Exposure protection appropriate for Catalina diving

  • BCD & regulator system

  • Additional personal dive equipment (compass, flashlight, knife, whistle)

Exposure Protection (Recommended)

  • 7mm wetsuit

  • Hooded vest and 1mm rash guard recommended in winter months

Recommended Items (All Guests)

  • Swimsuit

  • Towel

  • Warm layers

  • Sun protection (hat, sunglasses, sunscreen)

  • Seasickness medication (take in advance)

  • Reusable water bottle (eco-conscious diving 🌱)


Additional Information

Booking & Cancellation Policy

  • If Blue Holic Scuba cancels the trip, guests will receive a full refund or the option to reschedule at the same price point on any other trip.

  • Guest cancellations made at least one week in advance are eligible for a full refund or credit toward another boat trip.

  • Cancellations within one week are non-refundable.

Rental Gear Available

Rental gear is available through the Blue Holic Scuba shop on Olympic.

  • Please come into the shop by Saturday 3:00 PM prior to the trip to try on and pick up rentals.

  • A $40 cleaning deposit is required and will be fully refunded when rental gear is returned free of sand and salt.
