Welcome to our Pool Info Page!

 We offer pool sessions at various locations, including the Algin Sutton Outdoor Pool, EG Roberts Indoor Pool, and the Olympic-sized Expo City Pool. We are excited to have you join us for a fun and engaging pool session! Everyone is welcome to come practice in the pool, whether you're a fun diver or a student.

After purchasing your ticket, your spot will be reserved, and a reminder email will be sent a few days before the pool session. This email will include the address, hours, and additional details about your class. Please note that the pool session is an add-on to the certification fee. 

If you haven't done so already, please add the PADI Open Water Course or Freediving course to your cart and purchase it along with the pool session.

We strive to make your experience as convenient as possible, and there will be plenty of free parking available near the pool facility.

Check out the schedule for our Confined Water Sessions:

Free Divers: 9:00 am-11:45 am

• Must bring your own free diving fins, mask + snorkel, and weights (available for purchase in our shop).

Scuba Students: 8:00 AM -12:00 PM

• 8:00 AM: Meet your instructors in the parking lot
• 9:00 AM: Gear setup and briefing
• 9:45 AM: Change into wetsuits and enter the pool facility
• 10:00 AM - 11:45 AM: Engage in pool lessons
• 11:45 AM: Get changed into dry clothes

Open Water TWO students will have lunch and then meet their instructor Keline at the shop at 1 PM for their knowledge review and exam session.

During our Open Water Course, you will learn a variety of skills to prepare you for the underwater world. Scroll down for a detailed list of skills you can expect during your confined water dives.

OPEN WATER COURSE SKILL LIST

Confined Water Session 1:

• Equipment preparation and care (5x)
• Put on and adjust weights
• 200M continuous surface swim
• 10 min surface swim
• 300M snorkeling (if no 200M swim)
• BWARF - Perform the buddy predive dive safety check
• Inflate/deflate BCD with low-pressure hose
• Underwater breathing naturally - No breath hold
• 2nd stage clearing (exhalation and purge methods) & recovery
• Mask clearing (partial and full) & recovery
• Alternate air source breathing for 30s
• Out of air simulation. Respond to air depletion by signaling "out of air"
• Surface swim to deep water with scuba unit and snorkel
• Exchange snorkel for regulator and regulator for snorkel 2x
• Orally inflate BCD until positively buoyant
• Cramp release technique for self and buddy
• Adjust for proper weighting - Float at eye level while holding a normal breath
• 5 point descent at a controlled rate while equalizing
• Locate and check SPG. Signal appropriately
• Neutral buoyancy via fin pivot using BCD low inflator hose
• Hovering
• Underwater swim while maintaining control/streamline
• Equipment disassembly

Confined Water Session 2:

• Demonstrate appropriate deep-water entry
• Perform a tired diver tow for 25 meters
• Remove, replace, adjust and secure scuba unit
• Remove weight belt at the surface
• 5 point descent using BCD for buoyancy control
• Remove, replace, adjust and secure scuba unit
• Remove, replace, adjust and secure weight system
• Orally inflate BCD until positively buoyant for 1 minute
• Breath effectively from a simulated free-flowing regulator for 30 seconds
• Swim without a mask for 15 meters
• Simulate a Controlled Emergency Swimming Ascent for 30 Feet
• Make a 5 Point Ascent using BCD for Buoyancy Control

• Cost: $95/day
• Perfect For: Divers who want everything prepped and ready—just show up and dive!

2. Full Package (No Tank & Weights)

• Includes: All gear in the full package except tanks and weights.
• Cost: $85/day
• Perfect For: Divers with their own tank and weights or those joining our Casino Point trips (where tanks and weights are provided).

3. A La Carte Rentals

• Regulator: $25.00/day
• BCD: $25.00/day
• Wetsuit: $20.00/day

Important Details

• Pick-Up/Drop-Off: Gear pick-up is available the day before your dive at our shop or, for Casino Point trips, at the dive site on the day of the dive.
• Daily Rentals: Pricing is based on a per-day rate. If you need gear for an extended trip, contact us for options.
• Refund Policy: A $40 deposit is required and will be refunded if the gear is returned in clean, good condition and free of sand and salt.
• Eco-Conscious Practice: Bring your reusable water bottle and join us in reducing waste! 🌱
