The original Princeton Tec dive headlamp is back, brighter than ever! It is the best third backup light you never knew you needed!
Decades ago, Princeton Tec introduced a diveable headlamp. Next, we shifted focus to brighter handheld lights – but noticed there was still a need for bright, hands free lighting in the dive market. So, we began with our dive-proven platform from the original Roam, replacing the previous halogen based product with a 100 lumen LED module and custom optic that delivers the focused beam that divers need.
Roam can be used as a standard headlamp, and our custom adapter allows mounting on many masks or any GoPro-style mount. Roam promises reliable, hands-free light, now brighter and more efficient than ever.
FEATURES
- SCUBA DIVING/FREE DIVING: Do your expeditions take you under water? Whether you’re exploring wrecks, basking in the wonder of coral reefs or checking crevices for grouper to bring home for dinner – a good light, like the ROAM HEADLAMP, will help you make the most of your time below.
- FOCUSED NARROW BEAM: This pattern creates a long, powerful beam of light excellent for illuminating distant areas, or for use during fast paced activities.
- IPX8: Diveable lights that provide waterproof integrity for continual submersion in water at depths down to 100 meters. If Atlantis had flashlights, they would be IPX8.
- MAXBRIGHT LED: The highest quality LED available. Princeton Tec’s Maxbright LED is extremely bright and efficient. This single LED emits a smooth, powerful, white light useful for a wide range of tasks. Princeton Tec uses collimators or reflectors with the Maxbright LED depending upon the application. Must yell "MAXBRIGHT" when saying term out loud.
