Scubapro Jet Fin – The Ultimate California Diving Fin
A true legend in the diving world, the Scubapro Jet Fin has been a staple of California diving for decades—favored by tech divers, military units, and local divers navigating the kelp forests. Its heavy-duty rubber construction and vented design provide unmatched power, control, and efficiency, making it the go-to fin for serious divers.
🔹 Why We Love the Jet Fin for California Diving:
✔ Power & Efficiency – The vented blade design reduces drag on the upstroke while delivering maximum thrust on the downstroke, letting you cover more distance with less effort.
✔ Unmatched Control – The fin’s weight and rigidity allow for precise stopping, turning, and frog kicking, making it perfect for kelp forest diving and surge conditions.
✔ Tough & Long-Lasting – Built from rugged rubber, these fins are designed to last a lifetime—trusted by the US Navy for over 80 years.
✔ Steel Spring Heel Strap – Makes donning and doffing a breeze, whether shore diving or boat diving.
🔹 Is the Jet Fin Right for You?
🔹 Great for: Divers looking for power, efficiency, and control in California’s demanding conditions.
🔹 Not ideal for: Divers with weaker ankles—for a lighter, more flexible option, we recommend our Travel Fin instead.
🔹 Best for Frog Kicking: The Jet Fin’s balanced design allows for effortless frog kicking while keeping your movement smooth and precise.

This product receives the Blue Holic seal of approval!
By far one of our favorite california-diving fins due to their heavy duty build. Although a lot heavier than usual fins, we use this weight to our advantage while diving. The design of the Jetfin allows us to get twice the distance with each kick compared to other fins, thus requiring less effort! The ruggedness of the fin also helps to have clear stopping and angles when diving. Finally, the steel strap makes for an easy don and doffing whether you're shore diving or jumping off the boat! It's no surprise why these are the official fins of the US Navy Seals!
