Morning Boarding Flow

Please arrive on time. After signing in, divers may begin setting up gear. Crew will assist as needed to ensure an efficient departure.

Meals & Surface Intervals

Hot meals, snacks, and drinks are provided throughout the day. Coffee, tea, sodas, and water remain available all day.

Conditions & Flexibility

Dive sites and schedules may adjust based on weather and sea conditions to ensure safety and the best possible experience.

  • Additional personal dive equipment (compass, flashlight, knife, whistle)

Exposure Protection (Recommended)

  • 7mm wetsuit

  • Hooded vest and 1mm rash guard recommended in winter months

  • Towel

  • Guest cancellations made at least one week in advance are eligible for a full refund or credit toward another boat trip.

  • Cancellations within one week are non-refundable.

Rental Gear Available

Rental gear is available through the Blue Holic Scuba shop on Olympic.

  • Please come into the shop by Saturday 3:00 PM prior to the trip to try on and pick up rentals.

  • A $40 cleaning deposit is required and will be fully refunded when rental gear is returned free of sand and salt.

Join Blue Holic Scuba for a full day of diving at the Channel Islands aboard the iconic Peace Boat. This trip offers classic Southern California diving—kelp forests, rocky reefs, and abundant marine life—paired with a spacious, diver-focused boat and experienced crew.

2026 marks the final year of the Peace Boat’s operations.
This vessel has been a flagship of Blue Holic Scuba for over eight years, and while we’re sad to see it go, we’re grateful for the many incredible dive days it’s given our community. These remaining trips are a special opportunity to dive one last time aboard a boat that has meant a lot to us—and to many of you.

Diver-Focused Boat Layout

The Peace Boat is designed for full dive days, offering ample deck space, easy gear setup, and warm hot tubs between dives.


This Trip Is Best For

  • Advanced Open Water divers and above

  • Certified students completing OW2 or higher

  • Divers comfortable with boat diving and cooler water

  • Not recommended for a first Open Water ocean dive

Hunting & Spearfishing 🐟

Hunters are welcome on this trip. Please bring:

  • A valid California fishing license

  • Required gauges and measuring devices

  • Catch bags

All hunting must follow California regulations and crew guidance.

For Students

This trip is a strong option for students completing OW2 or advanced training dives with instructor support. It is not recommended as a first ocean dive due to conditions and pacing.

Seasickness

If you’re prone to motion sickness, we strongly recommend taking preventative medication before boarding.

  • Full dive gear appropriate for Channel Islands conditions 

  • Warm layers for surface intervals

With 2026 as its final season, these trips are a chance to honor a boat that’s been part of countless certifications, milestones, and memories.

Lobster hunters are responsible for carrying required licenses, report cards, and measuring devices in order to be cleared to dive.
